🏝 Welcome to Our Sustainable Stay Exchange Program!

This isn’t your average volunteer gig — it’s a meaningful four-week exchange experience where you’ll join our temporary team and help care for our eco retreat on K’gari – where the sands tell stories and the ocean whispers tales! 🌊

Live beachside on the world’s largest sand island and immerse yourself in the magic of this sandy wonderland. 🏝

🌿 What You Get in Exchange

• Accommodation – Beachside eco stay for 28 nights
  Valued at $50/night (Total: $1,400)

• Meals – Three nourishing meals per day
  Valued at $30/day (Total: $840)

• Return 4WD Transport & Island Exploration Days –
  Return transport from Noosa and up to 7 excursion outings around the island by 4WD.
  Valued at $100/an outing (Total: $700)
  (Includes fuel, vehicle hire, national park permits, and insurance)

Total Value of the Exchange Programme: $2,940

Join us in hosting travellers from around the globe 🌍✨, creating unforgettable memories while learning about K’gari, Butchulla culture, off-grid living, and 4WDing on sand. 

💪 Your Role in the Exchange

In return, you’ll contribute 100 hours over 4 weeks (aprox 25 hours a week) to support the sustainable operations of our retreat.

Tasks include:

• Eco-friendly cleaning of facilities

• Composting and caring for native gardens

• Collecting beach rubbish and general groundskeeping

• Equipment maintenance

• Supporting guest experiences

Whilst unpaid, the exchange programme offers an equivalent value of $29.40 per hour, based on 100 hours contributed over 4 weeks.
