  • YOU MUST WATCH THIS NO MORE THAN 24 HOURS BEFORE YOU PICK UP YOUR 4WD!
  • It is designed to make you cautious and keep you focused so don’t be alarmed.

4WD Hire Car Agreement 

Before You Hit the Sand – Please Read!

You’ll sign our 4WD Hire Agreement when you pick up your vehicle, so we recommend reading it beforehand.

To keep things easy, we’ve bullet-pointed the key stuff – no fine-print traps here.

We want your K’gari adventure to be epic, and we put a lot of trust in our guests to take care of our 4WDs.

  • No pre-charged credit card holds

  • No excess charged upfront

  • We’re relaxed about minor dings and scratches

But – misuse or careless driving can lead to real damage, and the T&Cs explain when charges apply.

All vehicles include third-party insurance. For extra peace of mind, you can add Bear Care Hire Car Insurance at check-in to reduce your liability.

Accommodation Package Inclusions

  • Accommodation at The Haven on K’gari – Linens and Bath towels included
  • A personalised Itinerary 
  • Return Barge ticket on the Manta Ray barge from Inskip Point in Rainbow Beach
  • A basic recovery kit, 3rd Party insurance and mechanical failure breakdown cover. If you wish to purchase excess insurance, you can add our optional Bear Care Insurance for just $10 per day per driver. 
  • A 42L Cool Box/Eski
  • An Audio Guide that tells you all about the island!

Getting Ready for Your K’gari Adventure

The Haven has everything you need:

  • A fridge/freezer space and food cupboards

  • Fully equipped kitchen with all the essentials

  • Pure, fresh drinking water straight from the tap – no need for single-use bottles!

Help us protect K’gari:

  • Please avoid bringing single-use plastics and glass

  • Recycling services are limited, but we hand-sort and recycle over 70% of our waste – clean recyclables only, please!

Dingo Safety is Serious

  • Always store food in the kitchen and keep the doors to the house closed at all times. 

  • Never leave food, rubbish, or cool boxes unattended – even for a moment

  • If you see a dingo, stay calm, keep your distance, and never feed them

4WD Hire vehicle pick-up depot address:

3 Sanders Street, Noosaville Qld 4565.

This is the vehicle drop-off location too. Please return the car no later than 5.30pm/Sunset unless an alternative time is agreed upon with us before you departure.

Parking

We are on a quiet street with plenty of parking for cars, campervans, caravans.

Meeting Time

Please arrive at the agreed pick up time to be introduced to your vehicle, sign the hire agreement and load up your luggage!

Itinerary 

We will make sure we set an easily achievable itinerary that’ll avoid you driving at high tide to make the most of your time on the island.
