We want you to have an amazing experience whilst exploring K’gari, and we put alot of trust in our guests to look after our awesome 4WDs. We don’t pre charge your credit card or charge an excess, and are very forgiving when dings and scratches happen. However, the T&Cs do outline the results of improper or careless use of the vehicles that can cause lasting damage and financial charges will apply. Our 4WDs come with third party insurance. for extra peace of mind, you can add our option Bear Care Hire Car Insurance to reduce your excess and liability. You can add this onto your booking at anytime by contacting our reservation team, opting in when signing your waiver or when you check in for your tour.
We have plenty of food storage cupboards and fridge/freezer space at our retreat. It is also fully equipped with all essential cooking equipment, utensils and tableware for your convenience. The water on the island is one of the purest drinking waters in the world which is a huge bonus so please avoid bringing any single use water bottles! Please help us take care of K’gari by avoiding bringing single use plastic and glass. There are no recycling services on the island but we are dedicated so we continue to sort and recycle and we can do this with more than 70% of our waste if you help us keep the bins free from contamination. This is as simple as making sure things recyclable and clean that you put in the recycling bin. We have Stand up paddle boards, floaties, body boards and fishing rods available for hire at the retreat, have a chat with our team onsite for some floaty fun!

We are on a quiet street with plenty of parking for cars, campervans, caravans.
Please arrive at the agreed pick up time to be introduced to your vehicle, sign the hire agreement and load up your luggage!
This is the vehicle drop off location for the end of the last calendar day of your hire to return no later than sunset or 5.30pm unless agreed upon with us prior to departure.
