Yep it’s been a crazy journey so far and we are loving it! So much has changed since lock down but, yet at the same time nothing has changed at all. It’s been challenging but our mission to create the best K’gari Fraser Island Adventure experience is stronger than ever.

There is so much exciting stuff going but the biggest news is that we’ve just rebranded our Fraser Island Tours from Drop Bear Adventures to K’gari Fraser Island Adventures. Oh and we’re morphed Drop Bear Adventures into a travel guide for sustainable travel which we are beyond excited about.

We had an epic, priceless experience exploring K’gari (Fraser Island) with K’gari Fraser Island Adventures. The knowledge and passion Hana and Mark had for the island meant that we not only explored the most breathtakingly beautiful locations, but we also learned about the island’s history with the Butchulla people, and felt so connected to our surroundings. K’gari is such a special, sacred place and without Hana and Mark’s tour we would not have scratched the surface of what the island has to offer. Thanks so much for having us!! I’ll be back with more friends and family :)

to everyone at The K’gari Fraser Island Adventures (formally Dropbear Adventures) we really couldn’t of asked for anything more from our Fraser Island Tour! Welcoming hosts, cosy accommodation, super well organised & an authentic Australian experience on a magical island. Our guide Troy was super passionate/knowledgeable about the island and its history and people. We hit up all the hotspots on a flexible itinerary adapted to the daily conditions to get the best out of some of the awesome island spots! The boomerang lessons and paddle boarding on Lake McKenzie were definitely a highlight and no better time to visit as the wildlife was at its best, seeing plenty of Whales on our beach drives!

K’gari is such a beautiful place..

K’gari Fraser Island Adventures did an amazing job of showing us around. Their accommodation is great – clean and cosy. We stayed in winter and they had hot water bottles and extra blankets in the room, which was much appreciated!
Hannah and Mark are such great hosts. They truly care about the island and did a fantastic job of showing us around and telling us about the history of the island. I loved hearing about the Indigenous history of the island and their stories about it’s creation.The 4WDriving was so much fun too! I would recommend this tour to everyone – it’s truly amazing!!
