Ever dreamed of working in paradise? Here’s your chance to work with Fraser Island’s No.1 Tour Company! We’re on the lookout for a vibrant Host/ess to take care of our Eco Hostel on 75 Mile Beach. This epic opportunity lets you earn, learn, and live on Australia’s largest paradise island.
Most of our fantastic hosts stay with us for 6 months, thanks to visa work restrictions, but some have gone beyond – like our legendary Mumma Bear, who lived here for an incredible 6 years!
Your 6-month K’gari Fraser island adventure comes with a double room, food allowance, access to an island car, and a phone—all part of your salary package. No rent, no bills, no grocery shopping – just savings for your future adventures!
If you’re a nature lover, a stellar host/ess, and up for a challenge, this is your opportunity to be part of something extraordinary.
Working closely with Mumma Bear, your role involves rostering, volunteer inductions, admin tasks, housekeeping, decorating, cooking, online shopping, and checking in guests.
To have the Bear Factor, you must:
- Showcase outstanding customer service skills
- Be polite, considerate, and conscientious
- Be a super organized and well-mannered human
- Demonstrate ‘common sense’
- Have basic IT skills
- Hold a full open driver’s license and be a confident driver
- Be an all-round legend to work with!
