About Us:
Drop Bear’s K’gari Adventures is more than just a 4WD adventure company. We’re dedicated to preserving the natural wonders of K’gari, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and we’re proud to have partnered with Zero.co and the Hidden Sea Wine Company for our latest beach clean-up.
Eco Warrior Beach Clean-Up: 
In July, we rallied 40 eco warriors, a mix of passionate locals and dedicated staff, to tackle the relentless tide of waste washing ashore on K’gari. Over two days, we collectively cleared a staggering 1.4 tonnes of rubbish, with each participant removing an average of 35kg. This included various forms of plastic like bottles, bags, and straws. Thanks to these efforts, K’gari’s freshwater lakes and creeks remain micro-plastic free, safeguarding this delicate ecosystem.
Our Commitment:
Since 2018, we’ve organized 7 beach clean-ups, including a monumental effort in 2022 when we cleared an unprecedented 50 tonnes of debris in 1 year following a massive flood event. We stand ready to spring into action whenever our beloved island needs us.
